SATH – Shree Ashtavinayak Travels Hub
SATH ("Shree Ashtavinayak Travels Hub") provides self‑drive vehicles on a rental basis subject to the terms and conditions below. These terms set out the obligations of the Hirer and the authorised driver, the Company's policies for use, liability, and the documents required to take possession of a vehicle.
1. Eligibility & Authorized Driver
The vehicle shall be driven only by a person holding a valid and effective Driving Licence. The authorised driver must meet all applicable age and licensing requirements. The vehicle will not be handed over until all required documents have been submitted and verified.
2. Required Documents & Security Deposit
The following documents are mandatory at the time of vehicle delivery:
- Copy of Aadhar Card
- Valid Driving Licence (original to be produced at pickup)
- Two signed cheques (for security / deposit purposes)
- One two-wheeler vehicle to be deposited as physical security (if applicable)
3. Use of Vehicle
The vehicle is provided strictly for personal use. Commercial use, sub-letting, racing, overloading, carriage of prohibited goods, or any unlawful activity is strictly prohibited. Any breach may attract civil and criminal liability.
4. Responsibility & Liability
The Hirer and the person driving the vehicle assume full responsibility during the rental period. The Hirer shall be liable for all financial consequences arising from:
- Accidents
- Damage to the vehicle
- Third‑party damage
- Injury or death
- Legal penalties
SATH shall not be liable for loss of life, injury, emotional distress or financial loss suffered during the rental period.
5. Accident & Damage Policy
In the event of an accident or damage, SATH must be notified immediately. All repairs shall be carried out only at authorised service centres. The Hirer will bear complete repair costs, including parts, labour, insurance excess and loss of rental income during repair.
6. Vehicle Inspection
The Hirer must inspect the vehicle prior to taking possession and report any visible defects. On return, the vehicle will be inspected; any newly identified damage will be charged to the Hirer.
7. Traffic Rules & Violations
The Hirer is responsible for all traffic challans, parking penalties, tolls and any other Motor Vehicle Act violations arising during the rental period. SATH does not defend or indemnify the Hirer against such violations.
8. Non‑Refund Policy
Booking amounts and deposits are non‑refundable. Confirmed booking dates cannot be modified; no refunds will be issued for cancellations initiated by the Hirer unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.
9. Seizure by Authorities
If a vehicle is seized by authorities due to the Hirer's actions, the Hirer will bear all legal and release expenses. Rental charges continue until the vehicle is recovered and returned.
10. Mechanical Issues
Report breakdowns or mechanical problems to SATH immediately. Do not undertake unauthorised repairs without prior approval. SATH will arrange authorised support where appropriate.
11. Protection of Company Reputation
Any conduct that damages the Company's name, goodwill or business may result in legal action to protect the organisation's reputation and interests.
